April 27, 2013 - Refugees

This April we featured compositions by a couple of exiles: Kurt Weill, driven from Germany by the Nazis, and Charlie Chaplin, driven from the U.S. by the Commie Witch Hunts (and women with paternity suits). We also had a few pieces from the Theresienstadt Camp by composers who didn't leave Europe in time.
