Mixes of this sort are widely used in Korea for the famous Korean Pancakes, and for coating items to be pan fried. It is commercially available, but easy to make.

Flour, Allpurp  
Cornstarch
Rice Flour
Baking Powder
Garlic Powder
Pepper
Salt

Make   -   (5 min)
  1. Mix All Items together thoroughly.
  2. In a tightly sealed container, this mix will last for months.
NOTES:
  1. Variations:

      Most Korean powders also include some Monosodium Glutamate, usually as the least ingredient. Most also include some Sugar, about the same amount as Pepper.
  2. U.S. measure: t=teaspoon, T=Tablespoon, c=cup, qt=quart, oz=ounce, #=pound, cl=clove in=inch, ar=as required tt=to taste
