Lady at My Bedside - 09-19-2025
This had been a busy day, and mid-afternoon I decided to take a nap before doing more work. This dream ended that nap.
Begin: I was asleep in my bed. I was very close to the right edge (if face up). Usually I sleep on the other side, as the right side is the Lady's side, and has not been much occupied in recent years
In the dream I was sleeping on my back, and I woke up. Standing by the side of the bed, about even with my hips, was an older lady, slender, with a very dark complexion and shortish very dark or black hair. She was dressed in a white sun dress decorated by black disks about 2-1/2 inches diameter and spaced about 3 inches apart. In each of her hands she held a few short, thin, well branched sticks, black and leafless. She held them about level with her face, about 10 inches away from her face on either side. Her expression was calm.
This image was totally realistic, and it startled me to the point I actually woke up instantaneously, and she was not there. I have no interpretation for this event.
