This is simply our excellent Kenyan Mchuzi Mix (Stew Mix) without the Beef Bouillon Powder - so it's 100% Vegetarian instead of 99.7% Vegetarian. This recipe doesn't quite fill a 4 oz spice jar.

NOTES:
  1. Spice Grinder

A little whirling blade coffee grinder is excellent for this job - mine is a Krups. Of course you can also do it the traditional way, pounding it in a big stone mortar.
  2. U.S. measure: t=teaspoon, T=Tablespoon, c=cup, qt=quart, oz=ounce, #=pound, cl=clove in=inch, ar=as required tt=to taste
